| I know most of you will say Slippery When Wet is the best even though it does have killer songs like Let it Rock, Wanted Dead or Alive not so much their hits from that album though. I tend to think farenheit 7800 is the best along with the first album. Haven't heard many songs off New Jersey except for Bad Medicine which is one of my favourite songs off them. Hate most of their stuff in the post 80s, from trend setters they became to trend followers in a weaker way than Def Leppard did in the mid 90s onwards their song It's My Life sounds like they are doing a backstreet boys cover. If I was a metalhead that was around in the 80s and early 90s I would of hated this band though. I also tend to think they are worse when it comes to their radio whoring than Def leppard perhaps ultmetal's song "Never" should appeal more to Bon Jovi than Def Leppard.

| 7800 is a true guilty pleasure. I know that album probably a little too well. I think New Jersey is their best overall, but Slippery When Wet, Crush, These Days and Keep the Faith are excellent as well. | |

| Really good stuff. I just listened to it again recently for the first time in a few years. I think I like it more than I ever did before. | |

| I saw Bon Jovi on tour for 7800, they were the opening act for Ratt. They put on an entertaining set, though I was never really a fan.
Another interesting memory from that gig, Ratt was filming the video for You're In Love. |

| I LOVE Bon Jovi! And I ain't gonna feel one bit guilty about it!
Each one of their albums is good. They don't have a clunker amongst the bunch of em.
My faves:
1. New Jersey (easily their crowning achievement) 2. Have a Nice Day 3. Slippery When Wet 4. Keep the Faith 5. Bon Jovi 6. Lost Highway 7. Blaze of Glory/Young Guns II 8. 7800* Fahrenheit 9. Crush 10. These Days
I still need to get "The Circle".

| I was a HUUUGE Bon Jovi fan in the late 80s as a high schooler. I'd agree with New Jersey as their best, but there were some great tracks on the first two -always liked In and Out of Love and Tokyo Road (along with the very slick Slippery When Wet). Then I discovered thrash metal..... | |

I never had anything against them except when people back then (or now, since I recall seeing them on VH1 Metal Mania occasionally) called them a metal band, which wasn't necessarily the band's fault. Some of their songs are fun. Heh, I do remember James Hetfield writing "KILL BON JOVI" on his guitar back then

| Being a fellow Jersey native, I've had Bon Jovi shoved down my throat for the past 25+ years. Let's just say.... I'm not a fan. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| I got into Bon Jovi from the beginning. My favorite album is Keep The Faith and i'm really enjoying The Circle though they really went in what I would call a working man's rock sound. Bruce would be proud. |

I discovered thrash metal too. But why do people think they must choose between one or the other? It's okay to like both. It's okay to like all kinds of stuff.

Absolutely not. The 4 albums preceding Circle were pure smurf poo, and this latest record is at least a partial return to their 80s form.

I just don't hear that at all other than the bass line in "Work for the Working Man". Practically every review I've read says what you're saying but I still hear the same garbage from the last 5 years when I play it. IMO, the last good album they did was Bounce and the last great album was Crush.
