First 2010 concert...

I have no shows planned thus far...

I'm still looking for my first concert of 2010. Would've been Bon Jovi in Detroit in March but when I went to order them, all that was left was the extremely pricey stuff.

I'm sure summer is going to be really good. Clarkston ("Detroit") has the DTE Energy amphitheater (where I've seen most of my shows) and they practically have some type of music act every night during the summer.

AC/DC in May.

I just found out today that Stryper are playing in Gotheburg, only a 2 hour drive from me, on Thursday! How the heck di I iss that news? I would have gone there if I knew about it a little earlier!

No Hammerfall. It would probably be Megadeth/Testament/Exodus if nothing comes up before that.

Just saw Nile, Immolation, and Krisiun last night. An absolutely brutal night of death metal!

I just lucked out! A friend from the past contacted me to see if I wanted to go and see Stryper with him, for free!!! So I am going to see them tonight! I'm overly eager. This is one band I thought I'd never get to see!

Looks like that will be my first concert for the new year. Just picked up my tickets at lunch for his spoken word show. I'm pretty jazzed about it. Read many books, listened to many cd's and saw the dvd's. This will be the first time seeing him in the flesh.

Ha-ha! Yup, and we'll all snap our fingers in approval. Groovy, man.

Check out some of his stuff on YouTube. He's a great story teller. While most of his material is serious & intense, it sometimes borders on stand-up comedy. I have no idea what the topics are for this tour, but I'm sure it will be interesting.

If you like the cds and dvds you will love getting to experience this in person. I've attended two of his spoken word shows and they were outstanding!!

Yea, I'm really loking forward to it. My buddy that I'm going with is also a huge fan and saw him live before. When I sent an e-mail telling him Rollins was coming to town, he replied back in 2 seconds "I'm in."

I'm not going anywhere. I'm getting married soon and i'm short on money
