First 2010 concert...

Well I just picked up tix for my first 2010 concert.

Going to see Paul Dianno and Anger as Art. Picked up the tix from the Anger guys. Should be a good show!

What are your first 2010 shows?

it will be a show with some thrash band from albuquerque..cant think of the name..oh yea..Ultimatum!!! lol! bill,i cant wait! counting down the days for allentown!!

Gonna see Saint Vitus in two weeks, with The Lamp of Thoth supporting them. Should be an amazing gig.

I hear Beatallica will be hitting the NY/NJ area in the Spring. That would be killer but I'm not getting my hopes up. Being all Married With Children and stuff, I don't get out to many shows anymore.

Living 400 km from capital cities and being a teacher means options to see shows are pretty non-existent (especially as shows are usually midweek).... BUT, I will be traveling to see Stryper in April when they get to Australia!

I'd love to see more shows (have missed out on Maiden, the last Dream Theater, Opeth and Alice Cooper because of the 'distance factor') but that's just the tyranny of distance. Thankfully the yellow and black boys are here during my holidays!

I got to watch a local band rehearse for some upcoming shows in Oregon.(does that count? it was a few hours)

They have some kick @$$ originals & do some tasty covers. The singer is an old geezer at 52. But can still ride a dirt bike like nobody's business.

Looks like my first show will be Devil Driver, Suffocation and Goatwhore.

My first show was Jan. 19th when I got to see Anvil. I'm hoping to catch Paul Di'Anno in Feb.

Saw Dug Pinnick of King's X new band Razr13 two weeks ago. Was supposed to go see the American Carnage tour stop in Houston but we all know what happened with that one.

With the cancellation of the Megadeth/Slayer/Testament tour, I once again have hopes of catching Megadeth when they come through my town at a date I can actually attend.

Paul's playing a dive bar/club here in Jersey ("Dingbatz" in Clifton) tomorrow night... There's even a little interview w/him about it in today's paper. Sez his set will be about half solo material and half Maiden stuff.

It struck me kind of funny that he said he only does the Maiden stuff nowadays "because of the fans." Well, geez, do ya really think anybody would show up to hear a full set of your solo stuff, Paul? Keep dreamin'.

EDIT: Holy crap!! According to Wiki, Jeff Keith will be 52 this October. Wow-wee. I didn't think he was that old.

How true - I'm going to see him on Sunday. If it was only his solo stuff I wouldn't go.
