Long hair & metal

Well in my teens back in the early 70"s it was long till I went into the service and then it was medium.
Now it is short to shaven!

Short. Cut mine in high school. I would kinda like to grow it long again. Maybe someday.

my hair is very long, but i do not think it has anything to do with metal. it has more to do with my wife not wanting me to cut it.

After 12 years of Catholic school and strict dress codes, I tried growing mine long in college and it was a horrible, curly mess. I looked like Mr. Kotter. I need to keep it short. But hey, at least I'm not going bald.

Mine is in-between. I can't really get it to grow very long because it starts curling up on me.The longest I can get it before I look ridiculous is just about my shoulders

I had it long for a while....it was to the middle of my back in 198 when I cut it off. mainly for the same rasons as other stated...thinning top/front....and mullets look stupid.

I have tried several times to regrow it but as soon as it gets to my shoulders it annoys me and I cut it again.

Used to have it long. Was roughly shoulder length for about 2 years. Cut it somewhat short after that. Now it's almost shaved (cut down to 1/4 inch).

My hair is a freakin' mop when it grows. VERY wavy and goes in just about every direction. Prefer it short actually.

Those with crazy hair, it just takes patience to grow it out. Mine was
also crazy, but when it gets to be a certain length, it will fall down
and behave somewhat.



This was in like 1987 and I was about 19 or 20. Actually, when I was around 29 it was longer than this photo, and hung down more and was cooler because I learned to not brush it when it was dry.

My hair is almost down to my waist. I'm blessed with a very understanding family and boss.

My hair is fairly sort, I usually grow it out mullet style for a few months then (after I get a few wise-cracks about a mullet) cut it about to my ears. If it gets too long it starts to annoy me. I like it when I headbang, but every other time it starts to annoy me when long.

I have short hair. Always have, always will. There's no way I could grow a decent mane because my hair gets wavy and curly. I'm actully due for a haircut now... I think it looks horrible currently!

Used to have long(ish) hair back in the high school/college days, but it's short now. I got tired of having to tie it up in a pony tail to go to work and I guess I simply outgrew the "I gotta have long hair to be METAL" mind set. It did take me awhile to finally part with it though.

In 1997 I was the best man in my friend's wedding so I used that as an excuse to get it cut off. I've worn it short ever since.

My younger brother still wears his long (at age 35), though, so he carries the longhair torch for both of us now.

I have a shaved head now but it was pretty long before I shaved it off. I've been bald for 4 years now.

Mine is short, but I plan on growing it longer.

i have long hair. mine used to go down to my arse but its now shoulder length. i hate that people at work tell you to cut ur hair but girls can have as long hair as they want. whats the bloody difference?

This hair law doesnt afect bold people because you can not blame them, its the nature. Still, they should walk with metal t-shirts and elastic trousers by law

We always call them like that. Those are the denim trousers the members of IRON MAIDEN always had on for exemple. METAL TROUSERS

Had long hair for 'bout 7-8 years after high school... just got tired of wrestling with my boys and when you try to sit up they'd be standing on it !!! OUCH !

Got the corporate job now. Don't think it would quite fit. Having said that when it gets too long now it just drives me crazy !!!!

i have long hair but it is really straight as if i have straigtened it like girls do and it pees me off somewhat rotten still i like it and will grow it some more and make girls jealous
