Really good stuff. Those last two albums are extremely underrated and gave both bands a much needed boost of credibility in my eyes. I'm looking forward to your thoughts on Chinese Democracy. I thin it's one of the best albums from the last decade.

No. Picked up the Bruce Kulick for $10 at WalMart. The Mortification was an advance copy, since I did the layout for the cover. Picked up the Blood Red Angel for $1 on Amazon. The rest were either trades or from a VERY generous people who donated them to NoLifeTilMetal.com. They just all happened to come in the mail over the weekend.

Hmmmmm, different strokes for different folks I guess.

I popped that TNT disc in last night on the ride to a card game and thought it was over-produced, overly slick melodic, poop. Most of the songs sound like they could be the soundtrack to a bad 1985 teen romantic comedy. Cheesy lyrics and bad synthesisers made my ears bleed. The only reason I listened to the end was to make sure the disc played ok (it does) so I can unload that turkey on someone that likes this stuff. This was my first real experience with the band TNT and in all likelyhood, my last. Not my thing at all.

As for Raging Slab, I had this one on tape a long time ago. Haven't heard it in years so I'm looking forward to giving it a fresh spin to see how it holds up in 2010.

I'll take that TNT. We can make a dizeal, yo!

no, I had the self titled and 'Baneful Skies' which are both amazing of course, and then I have a 'Crimson Frost' shirt which is epic, but did not have this album or 'Crimson Frost'.

yeah, I've been wanting to see what I can find within the little R&B umbrella that does things different. You know how Journey has 'Send Her My Love' for example....a song you could probably justifiably call R&B in some form, and yet it's real music, with real instruments, and guitars..........that's what I've been trying to delve into..
