I also Ani DiFranco's Red Letter Year on 2LP vinyl, gatefold, with a bonus track, and the 12" vinyl-only remix single for "Little Plastic Castles." I didn't order them, though; some dude in Germany did. I did order her latest bootleg release a few weeks ago, so something go mixed up.

I have neither of these, but I'll probably return them. Sucks being honest sometimes. Haha.

No, these films are not related or sequels despite the similar titles... "Voyage"... is actually made from bits and pieces of an early 60s Russian Sci-Fi movie called "Planet Of Storms" which Roger Corman purchased, dubbed a whole mess of new dialogue, inserted a few cheesecake scenes of scantily clad bathing beauties (incl. Mamie Van Doren) fighting aliens, and released it under a new name.

I've given it one casual listen and yeah it's pretty good. I just recently bought Pride so I was in the mood for more and found it used at FYE for $5.99. A bit heavier than Pride is.

So much for keeping my CD buying under control. Despite yesterday's haul, I went to another used store, this time getting some out of print CDs (the 1st two) & an import (the third). The other 3 are regular used CDs (2@ $7.99 and one at $6.99):

I want that song as well, but unfortunatly, it does not have that particular song (I can't even find out what album does have it nor can I find a download of it).

I have really got to stop digging thru the bargain-DVD bin every time I'm in the supermarket. Look what I got today for $3.99: "TURBULENCE 3: HEAVY METAL!"



I couldn't pass it up after reading the description on the back: "Rock Icon and reigning King of Death Metal Slade Craven" is giving a special concert aboard an airliner that's also being web cast around the world, when the plane is suddenly hijacked by someone with a "Satanic ulterior motive." Sounds hilarious! Especially because the pix of this so-called "King of Death Metal" on the back of the DVD look like a guy in a bad Marilyn Manson Halloween costume. I'm sure I'm going to laugh my ass off at yet another lame Hollywood attempt at being "metal."

Mind you, I've only seen the first "Turbulence" and in fact didn't even know there was a "2" or a "3," but somehow I don't think I'll need to have seen the second film in order to follow this one.

*EDIT* Found the trailer on YouTube...ohhhh yeah baby, cheeeeeeez to the extreme. Better have a few beers before I hit "play" on this one.
