what are your favorite Ozzy albums?

I got nuthin' against DIARY...but I can't tell ya the last time I even listened to it. When I'm in an Ozzy mood (which admittedly isn't often anymore, as I've become so sickened by his descent into a reality show clown) I tend to reach for one of the three I mentioned.

These are my Top 5:
Blizzard of Ozz
No More Tears
Diary of a Madman
No Rest for the Wicked
Tribute

Bark at the Moon and Ultimate Sin were ok, but suffered from too much keyboards and synth sound of the over-produced 80's as far as I'm concerned. Too bad 'cause Jake is a monster on the guitar, but these albums haven't aged well for me.

After No More Tears, those album haven't received much play from me. There are some good songs, but overall not good albums. Black Rain is a better BLS album than Ozzy.

Not to mention Ozzy's hilarious wardrobe during that period. Remember the "Shot in the Dark" video? He looked like Liz Taylor after a week long crack binge.

I think during the 80's I would have said The Ultimate Sin. It was my first Ozzy album (don't get me started on when my violin teacher wanted me to bring in my own music to class, to try and play some of my favorite songs, and I brought in "Killer Of Giants" for him!).

I also played the heck out of No Rest For The Wicked, while plaing my Atari video games back then. So that one holds a special place in my heart too.

But I think my favorite would have to be Blizzard Of Ozz, closely followed by Diary of a Madman. I gues my order of favorites could be somewhat lined up chronologically.

Diary
No Rest

I like the others but those are the top five.

Like many others, Blizzard and Diary are near-classic. I like the Tribute CD as well. Assorted songs off the rest.

When that first came out i played the heck out of it

I have always like 'Ozzmosis' and I feel it is a great album.

I missed out on "Ozzmosis" the first time around. For some reason I never picked up any of the 90s Ozzy albums until recently. Now I'm spinning the heck out of all of them though.
