Top 25 METAL albums of the decade

the bottom has 2000 Century Media but it was released in europe in 1999 on spinefarm..

i consider them to be more prog than metal. There are the Sonata Artica influences in there for sure. Its a grey area I guess. I was trying to go strictly by the metal topic. If i could throw in prog the list would be a lot different.

Definitely metal band tbqh. People still consider Opeth metal. Keldian has 421512353x riffs of blOpeth. They use a lot more elements than many bands, but I don't know how one could play 'The Last Frontier', 'Crusader', 'Ghost of Icarus', 'Starchildren' among others and say not metal.... Heck, even within the genre they're more metal then a bunch of stuff, like half of SA's catalog, and all the latter era Luca Turilli stuff like Dreamquest..puke..
