SNOW!!!

we currently have almost an inch and their calling for snow/mix all week and then flat out snow showers all day on Christmas!!! Could be my first white Christmas!!

Philly got it pretty bad too. I think the "official" count was 23 inches. I shoveled for about 2 hours yesterday and I'm paying for it today.

i did that also but then borrowed the snowblower from the guy down the street. I hate snow.

We got lucky on this side of PA. We only got about 6 inches from that big storm.

Hunkering down for the big storm they say in coming our way this weekend. Just got notice that the office is closing at 3:00 today to get everyone home safely. Woo-hoo!!

I stocked the fridge last night with brew, the wife stocked the pantry. Once I get home today, I've got nowhere to be until Monday. Bring it on, Old Man Winter.

Snowing here too. Not going to be the major storm that's hitting the east coast but we still are getting about 4 inches. Around here, that's enough to paralyze things because STL drivers can't drive in good weather much less when there's some snow on the ground.

BTW, I miss the Riverdancing monkeys.

Last report I heard, it wasn't supposed to start till late this afternoon, around 4:00 or 5:00 and last through till early Sunday morning. They are predicting anywhere between 14 and 20 inches in my neck of the woods.

looks like it's supposed to be in the upper 50s' in Texas this weekend. One of the reasons I live down here now....

Global warming should take care of the snow problem in a few more years. I'm willing to wait it out.

MG's 'hood (Philly) and Deathcult's hood (South Jersey) are gonna get the brunt of this coming storm, from what I gather. Last I heard for my area, we can expect 4 to 7 inches at most. Fine by me.

That's what they're calling for here on the western side of PA. I wouldn't mind it so much but it screws up rush hour and takes me forever to get home-one of my biggest pet peeves : struck in traffic

Yeah, same here. Fortunately, I took today off because I have a lot of vacation days I need to use or lose. Just got back from the grocery store (weekends are my main grocery buying time) and I'm stocked up for the weekend. I can stay home until Monday.

Just put some Pumpkin Ale in the fridge to chill for the Superbowl.

They keep upping the totals here - first 12, then 18, then 24, then 28, now up to 30 inches....... Guess I will be on the board a lot this weekend!!!!

O yeah - been snowing since 10AM. Probably 3 inches on the ground so far. The heavy bands aren't here yet, when they do, we are expected to get 3 inches an hour. The report just says "some areas will get in excess of 30 inches" which means where I live on the outskirts of DC - way on the outskirts.

18-24" is the expected count for around here. I may get out of work tomorrow

Still nothin' here at the northern tip of New Jersey. I'd like to return this so-called "Snow-pocalypse," it does not live up to the hype as advertised.

Almost 9 AM here in Northern NJ and we still got.... NOTHING. This is bizarre. Now the news is saying my area might get a slight dusting, if that. Meanwhile, Central & Southern Jersey and points beyond are getting frickin HAMMERED. Go figure.

Sheesh, and I was actually kinda looking forward to the snow for once -- cuz it was happening on a Saturday so I didn't have to go to work in it for a change. That figures.

Yeah they were calling for 4-7 inches here,then 6-10, then 10-16 and now they're saying 18-24 this morning. Even better,I get to go out and shovel it. Whoopee!
