Raven's The Pack is Back.
If it were another band entirely....it might have been a rather decent album. But this is the band with the hockey gear-clad nutcase who played drums with his head. Synthesizers belong nowhere NEAR this band.
The Mentor's post-You Axed for It!.
Honestly, that whole clownish misogony thing got old really, really freakin quick loooong before Al Gore made their lyrics famous (although hearing ol' Al reading the lyrics to 'Golden Shower' on the senate floor was one of the funniest moments in American history)
Poison's "Every Rose Has Its Thorn".
This thing gave birth to the whole power ballad formula in hair metal. Nothing wrong with metal bands doing a good ballad, but the whole thing became insanely formulaic over the next few years afterwards. Every new hair metal band always did the same two things: 1. Release an anthemic party rocker, and 2. Release a cheesy ballad. Even Guns N' Roses did the same thing with Welcome to the Jungle' and then 'Sweet Child of Mine'.
