Rainbow Rising & Down To Earth Deluxe Sets In The Works?

According to the DEEP PURPLE Appreciation Society, on the back of the
the two-CD RAINBOW Anthology 1975-1983 box set recently released by
Universal Music in the UK, Universal are preparing Deluxe Editions of
Rainbow Rising (1976 - featuring Ronnie James Dio on vocals) and Down
To Earth (1979 - featuring Graham Bonnet on vocals). All Universal's
previous Deluxe Editions have been two-disc sets, though they're
keeping quiet about what will be on the bonus discs for the moment.
Steve Hammett says his money is on the Donington 1980 set as a fair bet
for the bonus disc of Down to Earth but spies tell the DPAS that CD2 is
studio out-takes and stuff, not the live set. Certainly boxes of tape
were being sorted through in the studio earlier this year.

I might buy them...

Would love to have the Rising set. One of my all time favorite albums.

The rabid Blackmore fan in me wants them, but I also wonder if the "deluxe" part will be worth it.

I'll definitely be getting Rising which is one of my all-time fave albums too, I just wished all 4 Dio Rainbow albums would get the deluxe treatment.
