Any other fans of this semi-forgotten prog/power band from Kentucky, USA? I've been listening to their 1990 release (PROGRAMMED, on Metal Blade) quite a bit lately. The most obvious comparisons (to me) would be WARNING/RAGE era Queensryche or the first two discs by Crimson Glory, with a small hit of thrash metal in a few places. Dang good stuff. Terrible album cover though. Haha.
I believe they released one album after PROGRAMMED (the name of it completely escapes me at the moment) before more or less disappearing off the face of the Earth, though I understand they did a reunion gig at the Keep It True Festival a year or two ago.
So whaddya say? Good band? Bad band? Release the hounds!
Here's the video for "Immune" off of PROGRAMMED.

Where have you been hiding the 2 or 3 years or so since I discovered this band, FF? I've been constanlty plugging them ever since!! This band is awesome, and probably my best metal discovery since the 80's! I like everything I've heard, but Programmed is easily my favorite. Looking forward to new stuff!

I found a copy on ebay awhile ago pretty cheap if I recall. Didja check there?
We must've discussed this band before, cause I never heard of them until I heard some glowing reports here, so I tracked down a copy. Good stuff, but didn't they change their sound on their follow-up disc?

Yeah I did, I didnt realize it was reissued in that one series they did so it was actually pretty cheap.
I found my used copy at secondspin's store not long ago. Was pretty much a blind buy based on the year/label. Was very glad I picked it up. The more listens I gave it, the more I liked it. Easily belongs on any underrated or should have been bigger lists.

That's awsome. I actually know some of the guy's out of this band. Great group. They only play here about once a year. Once every other year. They put on a great live show. Take's me back to when music had heart and passion...

Hey y'all - I was just bumming around lookin thru CDBaby's $5 deals (haven't done that in awhile) and you can get Lethal's POISON SEED from them for five skins (if you order two others from the $5 bin, that is). Not bad, think I may order that bad boy.

Never heard the second album, although I thought it was more of a grunge-like affair?

I've heard the "grunge-like" comparison too but I listened to samples of a couple of songs on CDBaby's site and it sounded pretty good to me. I guess I'll know for sure whenever I order it.
