What is your favorite Lethal Weapon movie?

I recently bought Lethal Weapon: The Complete Series on DVD. In addition, I own Lethal Weapon: Director's Cut and Lethal Weapon 2: Director's Cut on DVD. I have yet to buy Lethal Weapon 3: Director's Cut, and there is no Lethal Weapon 4: Director's Cut, as far as I know.

Which Lethal Weapon movie did you like best?

The first one because it was a fresh concept when I saw it in the theatre. The second is also good; the third not so much, and the last is a steaming pile of blue smurf poo!!!!!

I liked the first one best. The formula became increasingly worn out with each successive sequel. Part 2 had its moments, part 3 was mediocre at best, and the 4th one was completely unnecessary.

I've gotta agree with the rest, I like Lethal Weapon I the best. Classic. I'm gonna go watch it now...

Once again I am the odd man out. I like all three but liked the last one slightly more mainly due to the awesome martial art stylings of Jet Li.

The one where Mel Gibson got killed. Oh wait, that never happened. I'll go with the first.The others sucked.

First one for sure, Second was good and Third wasn't bad. Fourth never lived to the expectation.

First one for me too. Mel Gobson shines in that one. I like the first 3, but the 4th I can do without.... I am going to collect them all on DVD to. Now I only own the first one.

Agreed. The original one rocked.

I've not seen #4....the rest I liked.

Jet Li owned that film and thats why i like it the best..

I already said that. Except for that little "cubed" sign there.

I think I actually like them all equally. The chemistry between Gibson & Glover was so good, they're all really fun.

I was channel flipping one night last month and saw LW3 was on Encore Action, so I sat and watched it all! Good times!

Toss up between 1 & 2 - I saw 2 before I saw 1

The first one, but I love the 2nd about equally. Great films.

2 is awesome because of two things the first being; Patsy Kensit

Who was super hot in this movie.


And is still hot today!



And the second thing being the last lines of the film:

Arjen Rudd: "Diplomatic Immunity."

as he's holding up his id Roger shoots him in the head killing him instantly and proceeds to say...

Murtaugh: "It's just been revoked."

Spiritoradio: "Awesome!"

For the record, the second one is my favorite. Awesome movie.
