My truck cd player is full of 2009 releases right now, including Heaven & Hell, Kiss, Stryper, and Skynyrd. But the two I'm liking best are Chickenfoot and (I can't help it) Alice In Chains!

There was a new RAVEN CD too. Still haven't heard that one. Japanese release only. Sells for over $40!

The solos are awesome, there are some good riffs on there. The vocals/lyrics to "Take a Long Line" are really annoying, and I can hardly tell this is Hoglan on drums because he doesn't play in his signature style. It is an enjoyable disc.

What the heck is up with that? Usually bands like this at least release their album in Europe as well as Japan. I could understand about not releasing it over here in the USA. If it were released in Europe, at least it would probably only be about $20.00 or so. Over $40.00 is just riduculous. I won't pay that, whether I can afford it or not.

I was just listening to some Raven on Saturday.

Do you think their new one will at least eventually be released in Europe?

Last time I checked Raven's official message board, John Gallagher (bass/vox) said they were "sorting out" offers to release the CD in Europe and/or the U.S. but nothing was official yet.
