| I listened to both albums now. Well for Kiss my favorite songs are War Machine, God of Thunder, Creatures of the Night, I Love It Loud and Rock and Roll Hell. And of course Unholy! So in other words their new album is nothing for me. First I did not care about a new Ace Frehley album, but I gave it a listen in the shop, and I do like Outer Space and Sister! | |

| Ace is easily my fave solo member of KISS, but I have yet to hear either of these 2 albums. All I know is I LOVE Ace's solo stuff! | |

| I voted for Sonic Boom. I love Ace, and Anamoly is a good album, very cool, but Sonic Boom is just more my speed. | |

| Kiss by miles! Don't get me wrong, I find Ace's album charming too. But it isn't a very good album as a whole, imo. Too much experimenting. It actually reminds me a little of the latest TNT album in that manner. Not musically, but it has the same feel to it. But KISS has delivered a brand new bonafide classic! Every song is great! BTW, how soon 'til Bruce Springsteen's lawyers have KISS in court for steelin' the riff from "Radio Nowhere" and calling it "Say Yeah"? _________________ | |

have KISS in court for steelin' the riff from "Radio Nowhere" and calling it "Say Yeah"? KISS just had to pay Alice Cooper a few years ago because they ripped off "I'm 18". When will they learn? |

Or Bret Michaels for that matter, for stealing the verse melody to "Nothin' But A Good Time". Regardless, it's a great CD and I'm lovin' it. I haven't been this excited about a KISS album since... well... Hot In The Shade. Yes, that's right, Hot in the Shade. I admit it. I really really liked that album when it was released. I still like it.

| If I take the best songs from Ace and mix them with the best songs from Kiss, I can only imagine what a GREAT CD it would have been if these guys could keep their egos in check and work together. Ace's CD still sounds like Kiss, even being the only Kiss member. His sounds more like 70's Kiss. Kiss' CD has a slightly more 80's vibe, which is cool to. "Modern Day Delilah" and "Foxy & Free" would be great together. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

I experimented with that as well, and you are absolutely right. Songs like Sister and Outer Space would blend right in with some of this new KISS material. Oh, why can't we all just get a long? So I'm looking at it this way, now we've got to great CD's instead of only one. I'm really diggin' both of them.

| If Paul, Gene and Ace could get over their differences, they would make a KILLER album together. I also think if Eric Singer was in catman makeup and behind the drums with Ace in the band, most fans wouldn't be as pissed as they are about Eric and Tommy in makeup. Eric is a MUCH better drummer than Peter. | |

| Having lived with both albums now for a few months, I voted for Ace. While I think Sonic Boom is a solid album in it's own right, in the long haul I see Anomoly getting more frequent spins from me. I have a general disliking of Gene Simmons and I think that will taint (tee-hee) my decision if I'm choosing between the 2. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

Definitely! I like the KISS CD more though. The weird stuff on Ace's album just ruins the flow of the album for me.
