| Since the Ace thread is turning into this debate, I just thought I'd make a new thread for it.
Kiss - Sonic Boom Ace Frehley - Anomoly
Which is better and why?
I cannot yet comment. I will not listen to the new Kiss until I have it in my hands on the official release day.
However, I can now say that I very much enjoy the new Ace CD. It's a solo album, so it has room for lots of quirky, experimental stuff. For the most part, however, Ace sticks to what he does best, raw hard rock and roll. The first four songs alone are worth the price of admission. "Sister" is up there as on the of the better tracks as well. I love the Sweet cover too.
Looking forward to hearing the new Kiss. I'm a Kiss fanatic, as well as an Ace fanatic, so I have no doubt I will like both. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| I voted Sonic Boom because I'm a Paul Stanley fanboy, and the vocals and songwriting are just better on S.B....and I LIKE Ace's vocals, just not an entire album of them. |

| Sonic Boom, much better than Ace. but best thing should be putting them together into one piece. SB is really good, typical Stanley style. return to ''80s 70s''. i can say it is a mainstream record. Paul sing awsome but his voice as you can hear it, now on US Tour completely S U X !.
WTF ? is with his voice ? it old very old. i dont like it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SK8v6c_mTM8

| Sonic Boom has more staying power imo. It's one of the greatest heavy rock albums I've heard in years. That said, Anomaly is pretty damn good too. I'm not that big a fan of stuff like A Little Below The Angels and Change The World though. | |

Same here, I decided to wait to listen to it on official release day. Likewise. I haven't heard anything off of Sonic Boom except "Modern Day Delilah". I'll buy it and listen to it for the first time the day it's released. That being said, Ace's album is great.

| I think both albums are good, but the Ace album has consumed me. I've listened to it multiple times over they last few weeks and have found myself singing along to just about every song. There are a couple songs I think aren't as good as others, but overall, Ace has released a solid CD. Kiss's CD is good too and has a bit of an 80's vibe to it. 'Modern Day Delilah' and 'Russian Roulette' are the best songs IMO. Ace's CD has more of a 70's vibe. 'Sister', 'Foxy & Free', 'Outer Space', 'Pain in the Neck', 'Fox on the Run' and 'Factured Quantum' are my favorites. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| Anomaly and Sonic Boom both are pretty good, makes me wish Gene put his ego aside and get along with Ace! Everyone knows Ace was the true musical talent to Kiss! Paul had the looks, Gene knew how to market the band but it was Ace who knew how to play! LOL | |
