At least Stephen Dorff will probably be in the remake.

| Haven't seen this movie in years. I remember enjoying the creature FX and the many "heavy metal" connections (one kid had a Killer Dwarfs backpatch on his jacket, and their playing a"Sacrifyx" album backwards unleashed the tiny critters from the hole in the backyard)... I would almost hate to see it now though, I imagine it probably hasn't aged very well.
I hear that Alex Winter of "Bill & Ted" fame is directing the remake. Can anyone confirm? _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

That is correct. Does this mean the kids will say "Dude. Strange things are afoot in our backyard?" _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

That is correct. Does this mean the kids will say "Dude. Strange things are afoot in our backyard?" Alex Winter was in the "Lost Boys" as a vampire so he is not completely out of place in this style of movie.

That would pique my interest quite a bit. I've always liked Winter's stuff as he's very creative.
