Christian Thrash metal top 10

I can't really add anything different as far as what others have mentioned already. There were some So. Calif. bands that were fun onstage but never put anything out but cheap demos. The only names I recall at the top of my head are Martyr and Apotacy Denied, which I believe went on as Begotten Breed with all the same dudez.

I have Martyr's compilation CD. It's pretty cool. Use to have the old demos but sold them off some years ago.

hey ult is there a way to try to make those christian metal companies to re-release DETRITUS? I was listening to my cassette and I couldn't believe such a great album to be on waste

You could email Roxx, Retroactive, Bombworks and request it. It worked to get Puppet of Destruction remastered.

I want to get martyr wickenstraut bad, but I cant justify shelling 20 bucks for it...

Hey The Nazgul, that's quite hardcase. I do have Pillars of Humanity, but I just never played that one as much as many others, despite it being a great album.I have no idea why.

Good list of second tier christian thrash, but lament is death metal and Dropdead was more death but had some thrash too.

I cant wait for dissaffections "begin the revolution" to come out this summer!

Lament wasn't really straight forward death metal on "Through the Reflection". I wouldn't really call it thrash metal either. Sort of melodic heavy metal with shouted vocals. I had a hard time labeling it when I reviewed this CD as well. (As you can read in my review.) The bonus material of Beheaded is straight up death metal.

what about exousia, and pale horse? I see them as thrash too, and they are great

Another realy good Christian Thrash album that is often forgotten about is Wickeds End - Temporal Pain. Guitarist Glenn Rowlands was the brainchild of is this classic!

Funny...I see everyone mentioning Stop The Bleeding...I never saw it as a Thrash Metal album...I saw it more along the lines of like AGENT STEEL...fast in places, but w/ melodic vocals...the only song w/ Thrash vocals on it was the one about animals (can't remember the name right now) that they made the video with...the rest all had Guy's "King Diamond" styled high clean vocals and lower register clean vocals...

Now, they absolutely utilized more Thrash influences beyond this album...but when it came out, I would not have categorized it as such.

Tha's correct about 2nd Detritus (not thrash) but I think it sucks badly...
