I have and am currently listening to Puppet Of Destruction by Ultimatum and I am just wondering if some of you could post any Christian Thrash bands that are similar or great in their own right.

Can't go wrong with the first two Deliverance albums. I prefer the debut by just a smidge but it's mighty close.
You'll probably get a lot of recs for Vengeance Rising too, I never dug them much cuz of the irritating vocals but the first Die Happy album (who were essentially V.R. with a new singer) is a sweet one too.

Sacrament (2 great albums)
The Moshketeers - The Downward Spiral
Of course you can't go wrong with our own Temple of Blood.

Thanks guys and thank you for the recs.
Awesome and informative video Ult. I was wondering -in your opinion what is the most economical way to get your band Ultimatum on CD??? My copy of Puppet came from a Christian bookstore and they charged me 20$ for it. I am willing to pay that unless there is a cheaper way to get them officially.

Thanks Scott - I checked Ebay Canada and they seemed quite expensive when you factored in the postage. I will email Robert when I get some money in a few weeks.

Sorry if this has been brought up before, but speaking of ToB, did the "A Show of Force" album ever get released?

I really like Behind The Inverted Star!! Some wicked riffs and I like the voice though I do wish it was brought up a bit more in the mix but that is a minor complaint.

Not yet. Since the last one came out I've gotten married and had 3 children, in addition to lineup changes, and getting the opportunity to sing on the latest Cauldron Born album. It's in the process of being recorded though. Thanks a lot for your interest!

I feel like this thread has been made over 20,000,000 times, but since thrash is my fave - right on.
This is Seventh Angel, which plays a hearty blend of thrash metal and doom metal. The music and lyricism here is reminiscent of Dark Angel on Time Does Not Heal, but it's even more-so emotionally taxing. Ready up those antidepressants, and bask in it's hopelessness and dread.
My second favorite band of all time. Tourniquet is a progressive thrash metal outfit with neoclassical and doomy tendencies. The drumming on all of their albums is simply mindblowing, and the vocalist sounds like a sinister, cartoony Dave Mustaine.

^^ Ooh yea, seconding on the Crucified. I missed out on them back in the day for whatever reason, but discovered them via YouTube a couple of years ago. Good stuff.

Congrats, ToB! You've been busy! I have three little ones myself. They keep you busy! I´ll keep an eye out for the new album.

The Crucified are one of my favorites. I got into them when I bought their self titled album on a whim. One of my favorite songs on that album was Hellcorn.Think I'll post a vid to it. It's rather fitting considering the last few days here.
