| Anyone from a band you've met somewhere.
I myself have met all the current members of Judas Priest twice. On their 2008 Australian tour I managed to hang around at two of the airports (I went to three shows) and get photos and signatures from all five.
Sadly there were only about 20 people doing the same thing at each airport. | |

| I've met quite a few band members at signing sessions and festivals (primarily Bloodstock) such as Arch Enemy, Nevermore, Helloween (minus Andi, unfortunately), Blaze Bailey, Sabbat (I seem to run in to Martin Walkyier at every Bloodstock fest I've been too - hopefully it'll be the same this year), Iced Earth, Korpiklaani, Dragonforce, Overkill and a few others who have escaped my memory. _________________ | |

| I too have the feeling that we've done this before, but what the hell, I'll play. Musicians I've met:
Bobby Gustafson and "Blitz" Ellsworth (Overkill) John Gallagher, Mark Gallagher and Joe Hasselvander of Raven Joey, Johnny, C-Jay, and Marky Ramone Steven Adler (ex- GNR drummer) Igor and Max Cavalera (Sepultura) Midnight (Crimson Glory) Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Eric Singer, Bruce Kulick, Ace Frehley, Peter Criss, and Vinnie Vincent of KISS (obviously not all at the same time - haha) Gary Cherone and Pat Badger of Extreme Chris Caffery of Savatage Richie Scarlet and John Regan of Frehley's Comet Jerry Only and Doyle Von Frankenstein of the Misfits
Non-musicians: Adam "Batman" West Richard "Captain Apollo" Hatch of "Battlestar Galactica" Bill Aucoin (KISS' manager in the '70s) Mike Reiss (head writer for "The Simpsons") George Gately (cartoonist who drew the "Heathcliff" comic strip) Keith Giffen (comic book artist) Dave Cockrum (comic book artist) Darryl Strawberry (he sat in front of me at a NJ Nets game when I was about 12 years old -- MAN, was I geeked!)
...and probably a few others that I'm forgetting... _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| I was on a tram at the Dallas/Ft. Worth airport and this long-haired "older" guy with a hot babe on each arm walks into the tram at one of the stops. I look closer and it's David Coverdale!! I didn't bother him, it was just cool enough to be standing right next to him. | |

Haha, I'm pretty sure I was a Yankees fan at that time (still am), but that was my first sighting of a so-called "famous person" close up so it was pretty freakin' cool no matter what team he was on!! _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Haha, we're talking early to mid-80s here when he was playing for the Mets, so I don't know if Darryl was on the Drug Train yet. He seemed nice, (and very TALL at that time, of course, I was just a kid then). I didn't bother him, but when he first came in and was sitting down in front of me I did say "Hey Darryl," and he said "what's up man?" Other than that I left him alone because my Dad leaned over and whispered in my ear "Don't bug the guy, OK? He's having a night out. Give him a break." Haha. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| I met Ted Nugent in a K-Mart looking at birthday cards for his wife. That's the only "real world" encounter. I've met lots and lots of people backstage or at shows. Arttie | |

| Well, this is funny, my brother works at a TV network and everytime he visits me we find a "so called celebrity" somewhere, but I have to tell you: I do not know who those people are and I couldn't care less... I do not like soap operas!! Altough, my brother -who btw has a POOR music taste- has a pic with Janik and Dave Murray!!! (honestly, I have been hating my brother in secret since there LOL) |

| My favorite was at Jezebel's in Santa Anna, Calif. The show was King's X on the "Gretchen" tour Eric Carr was sitting with Marc Ferrari of the band of Spec's shirt. I went up to say hello to Eric (major fanboy that I am) and Marc remembered me from a previous encounter (non-musical) a few months earlier. Eric was very gracious. Went back and enjoyed the show with my friends David raymond Reeves, Roger Dale Martin, and Dave Enos. _________________ | |
