I hear ya... Rocky was one of my favorites. His style was original for thrash. He is wasting his talent in Fishbone.

Rocky is one of the best lead players I have heard in thrash/crossover. No matter how zany ST was going, Rocky could always slam a great thrashing riff or lead.

This is true. I saw ST live back in the day and even though the rest of the band were goin' completely apesh*t all over the stage the entire time, Rocky was this island of coolness unto himself, wailing away amidst all the mayhem. He was awesome.

Rocky was not just a great thrash guitarist. His solos were just dripping with melody and passion untouched by most. Don't know what he sounds like with Fishbone but I tried listening to them one time and couldn't get into it.

Nothing wrong with Fishbone...they put on an awesome show.

I really need to get some ST on disc again...I haven't owned any for years (except the debut). How Will I Laugh Tomorrow and Lights were on constant rotation in detuned's domain back in the 80's.
