Wow, the school year lasts much longer in NJ than it does here. Kids have been out of school here since the last week of May.

The last day of school actually shoul'd've been last week, but they had to add a few days to the calendar cuz we had so many snow days during the winter.

My kids have been out of school for a few weeks now. However, they go back in early August. When I was living in NJ, school didn't start up again until September.

We had about a week's worth of snow days, so I got out on the 7th this year. I feel bad for everyone who has to stay in school this long, even if they start school later.

Summer used to be three months (up until my junior year of high school) but now it's about two months. Glad I'm not in school anymore. School seemed to start late this year (I drive through a school zone on my way to work) but that was probably due to all the ice storms we had this past winter (more than I've ever known around here).

My daughter discovered The Muppet Show when she was three years old. Now we've got the series box sets, she's watching all of them -and the Alice Cooper one is her favourite. She's the only seven year old girl I know who'd choose Welcome to My Nightmare as a favourite song. i don't know whether to be proud or scared......

Both mentioned are good episodes so are the ones with John Cleese, Danny Kaye, Mac Davis (the one with the multiple Beakers), Dudley Moore, Vincent Price, George Burns, Dom DeLuise, Elton John, Peter Sellers, Paul Simon, Carol Burnett, and Kenny Rogers.
