Biggest metal cd collection ever

I am sure most of our wives/girlfriends/fiancees would like us to spend less money on music, at least I know mine would.

My collection is pretty small compared to most. I've only got just over 800.

I appreciate it. Maybe filler to some, but for me I enjoy everything I've got.

I keep an inventory on an Excel spreadsheet, and Artillery's By Inheritance just made 1,001. Probably 700-800 of those are metal. I also go to pawn shops, but even if something costs only $2.00, I see no reason to buy it unless I really want to add it to my collection. I buy what I want and no more. I think that's a sensible approach.

I'd have a much bigger collection if i didn't sell off so many cds in the past.

I only keep keepers and I am very picky about what I buy and what I listen to. Most of my collection is from a friend who rips the cds I want from his collection. I own maybe 100 actual cds, and close to 200 CDR's.

I own 161. My family has about 60 more that I ripped to my ipod. Everything else is from the public library.

I cannot stand CDRS in my collection...

i have a little over 4k total...all hard rock/metal & punk. that's just cds though, not cassettes or vinyl.

I'm at about 9000 now!

I probably have a little over 1000 CDs but many of them are filler. I have a long way to go before I reach a respectful collection (my budget is about to become tighter than Mr. Krabs wallet which will put my journey on hold). When (if?) I become a mechanic and remain single for a while longer (I hope not too much longer) I should have plenty of spending money (regular mechanics start around $15/hour, deisel mechanics $20/hour) to grow my collection. I remain jealous of your guys' collections.

I've got around 1,500. Not all metal though. Metal and Hardcore/Punk make up a LARGE majority of it though.

I think I just hit the 1000 mark not too long ago.

All of it is not metal but I'd say about 80% of it is with the rest blues, southern rock, and classic rock with some jazz intermingled!

I think I have just about 250 CD's in my collection, and they fall under the Metal genre (some are Hard Rock). And yes, I too hate CDR's! I don't think I even have one.

Ive got about 1,200 currently I think, have yet to add them all up again. Once I get back everything that got stolen when I moved, I may stop though, the cost of some of them have be come staggering in price, I may be broke by the time I make it back to 3k.

The last time I counted which has been a couple months it was close to 1000.

Even with all the selling and trading I do, I am constantly around 3500 or so, give or take a few hundred. I NEVER get caught up inventorying them, especially when I buy bulk lots for just a couple of the discs in there.
