Except for the newest one "Born Into This". That CD just didn't click with me.

I've been meaning to pick that one up, but I'm willing to wait and find it cheap in the used bins. ToHo, is it not good?

I didn't like it at all. Too retro sounding IMO. Also, the production sounds crappy; like a demo.

"Born Into This" was pretty weak. The single "Dirty Little Rockstar" was just OK, the rest of the CD was kinda boring.

They even had the gall to release two different versions of that CD -- the "regular" version with 11 or 12 songs (however many it was), and then a "diehard" edition with 5 or 6 extra tracks. No thanks, the stuff on the "regular" version was more than dull enough for me.

I'm a huge Cult fan too, so BORN INTO THIS was one of my major disappointments of the past year (the other being the last Iced Earth album).

Yea, I was looking into the diehard edition, but it's too expensive for me to buy new. I'm bummed to hear the lukewarm/bad reviews.

I am huge Cult fan, I am sorry to hear such lukewarm reviews to the newest studio album, I haven't picked up yet but will again when I start working on my Cult discography. If there is such a thing as alternative metal these guys definitley were pioneers, my favorite by them is " Love" which has a somewhat of a Doors vibe, which is interesting since he would front Krieger and Manzarek's Doors tribute act The Doors of the 21st Century for short while before leaving to go back to the Cult.
