Failed Plans

My origional intent was to grow a gotee similar to Marcos from Nightwish. The first time I saw it it was not super long and looked like devil horns (a look I was trying for) and I decided that my gotee was long enough to do that, well now I will probably shave it off before work tonight, however, I just want to make sure I'm not just being picky. So even though I'm indangered of making myself look stupid (I'd rather do that here rather than with people I see on a regular basis), I want to get some opinions.

I don't think you needed to shave it. I think Marco just separated the hair and then tied a rubber band on the ends or whatever. But upside down, it's cool.

However, I am having some second thoughts on it. I felt that I couldn't get it even but when I bought some rubber bands (to do what you what you just pointed out) and the clerk said it looked even. I might "test drive" it just for tonight and judge people's reactions.

it doesn't look bad... you just need to keep up with it until it gets some length. don't give up my fellow beardo.

Little longer would be better, but it doesn't look bad.

There's nothing that says "Viking" to me more than poo encrusted dreadlocked ass fur.

If you ask me it looks kinda like a kung fu thing. I'd say shave it and start over.

Although I don't think it was as bad as I initially thought and nobody at work has said anything about it, I probably will shave it off. I appreciate the support from people on this, but it is a major pain in the ass to shave around it. I will probably shave it off real soon and just grow it to were it was (long but nothing fancy), it was so much easier to take care of that way.

It's gone, I'm going to have to regrow it to where it was, and this time I'm not shaving it down the middle, I will however let it grow longer. I was going to keep the horns for a couple of weeks longer letting the regular gotee grow in before shaving them down to match it. However, while trying to even out the horns, the guard shited two numbers down and it messed up one side more than the other.
