I made it to where Reed starts droning and stopped it there. Ugh.

It's awful...

Wow, so I did hear one song when that shitstorm of an album was released, and hated it. I just tried to listen to a couple songs and couldn't do it. I wish my friend Chuck was still alive, I'd love to see his reaction to that POS. The best band on the planet in the 80's and that's how low they've sunk. I hope when they recorded that crap, that they knew how terrible it really is. I can't see them in the studio listening to that shit and being proud of it.

I think the guys in Metallica have too much pride to admit Lulu wad a massive failure and an embarrassment. Lars and Kirk are the guys that love the weird artsy shit. James won’t admit that it sucks! Robert is open minded as a player, but he knows his place and doesn’t dare second guess their decisions.

They just say it’s a Lou Reed album, and they just helped him make it. Apparently, Lou died frustrated that the album was very poorly received. It was just a bunch of rich guys thinking they did something different and creative. Maybe it was. But it still sucks! Lou’s voice and lyrics are cringe worthy.
