It's pretty good, and if you like that "80s Thin Lizzy sound" then you should like this one.

It's pretty good, and if you like that "80s Thin Lizzy sound" then you should like this one.

I wasn't completely sold on their debut. The vocals didn't jive with me, but repeated spins took care of that. I'm sure I'll pick this new one up at some point.

I agree - it is much better than the other albums I have by them. I think they got a lot of flack because the vocals had such a Metallica style to them, but that is one of the aspects of the album I love.

Nah, I didn't get that lucky, I actually had to pay (shudder) retail for this one. It's been so long since I've done that, I almost forgot what it's like. But seriously folks....

I snagged it at the little indie/import record store near my new office (which was also my old office about a decade ago, long story that I won't get into now)...since I got transferred back there in mid-July I stop in that CD shop once every week or so on my way home.

I didn't see anything in the used bins that floated my boat on my most recent visit so I was wandering aimlessly around the stacks, trying to remember if there was anything else I was on the prowl for... I happened to be standing in front of the "W's" when the light bulb went on ("Oh yeah, Warrior Soul! Duh!") so I started digging. I was actually kinda surprised they still had a copy since it was released three years ago. Better late than never, eh?
