Another Top 100 list

Obviously some titles that do that square peg round hole thang.

The placement of "Kill 'Em All" was weird, but any list with excessive amounts of Tourniquet is a good list to me.

Some very good selections on there, some I'm a bit meh on, and a handful of WTF picks. It's all subjective anyway, though.

I thought they hit all the majors. I was a bit surprised by Tourniquet. I like them but i am not sure i would have rate them that high.

Very cool list. It makes me realize how much I'm missing in my collection,though.

I have no quarrels with that list. Love Tourniquet coming in at #6. To me that album has held up very, very well over the decades. STB is still my favorite stylistically, but I must admit that absolute brilliance of Pathogenic...

That surprised me too - I wouldn't rate them that high.

If I made a list like this it would have many of the same titles, but a lot of albums I love are missing. Some really odd choice such as Meshuggah, Pantera and Viper. I like Viper but I've never, ever heard anyone refer to them as thrash metal. I still can't understand how Pantera seems to make just about every thrash metal list. When were they ever a thrash metal or speed metal band?

A lot of good stuff on there however, some of my all time top thrash albums aren't on there which is a disappointment. Pleased to see Xentrix-Shattered Existence in the top 20 though.

I would've put Annihilator-Carnival Diablos on that list.

This is stupid list, hands down. Most likely automated, or generated. There's two Machine Head titles in there, for God's sake!

What I wanna know is how come I never even heard of Morbid Saint or their "Spectrum of Death" album till I joined this forum seven years ago... yet I swear, since then every time one of these "Most Awesome Thrash Metal Albums Ever" lists makes the rounds, it's always on there. Where has it been hiding??

Hmm, interesting list. It's an opinion i suppose! I have a different one.

I think Neverland is a good album, but top 100 worthy? Not really.

Machine Head are good, but thrash they are most certainly not.

Detente - Recognise No Authority isn't on the list. That's enough for me to pass.

Number 100 should be at number 1! Overall, its a decent list though. A few I would never have in there but that's just me.
