Shipping was $8. Divided up, that's like $6.30 per CD. Still awesome considering those CDs go for $15.99 at least around here.

They always offer the discount, but it's random as far as I can tell. I'm assuming it's overstock that they just try to get rid of.

It's up to the seller to decide if they want to participate. CDBaby's commiision is flat $4 off whatever price the seller has set, but if you opt to have your CD included in the $5 bin, then CDBaby take $2 only, and you are entitled to $3

Yup. That's one I'm definitely picking up. All those I listed are $5. Some of those I bought in early 2007 or 2006 may no longer be $5, but I think most still are. I still see them. I know they change, though. Shatter Messiah's disc was $5 a while back and I didn't buy it; now it's no longer $5. Pffft!

The CD I reviewed there is also on the site for $5. I think it's a solid CD. Read the comments if you want to see the abuse I took as a reviewer there. Haha. 4 pages of hate because I used "nu" in the style description. That sort of response was typical of nearly all my reviews.

CD Baby is great for discovering some new music even if the cds aren't $5.

Vagh and Heelwalkers definitely kick booty! Bone Shaker sounds great, too.

Got my two packages from CD Baby. They came today, which is odd since I ordered both about a week apart. Anyway, like the Danger album, the Soul Circus album comes in a sleeve. Whoever designed the artwork sucks. Everything was stretched way too much, and it's all pixellated.

Everything else in a jewelcases or digipacks. The Empire disc is a digipack and has no slot for the booklet, it's just in there loose. I have a few digipacks like this and it's idiotic. It has three bonus tracks, though. The Katagory V disc has two bonus tracks, and the Godyva disc is autographed by each band member (this is a female-fronted band, not the power metal band, Godiva).
