2012 Iron Maiden Tour Dates - MAIDEN ENGLAND TOUR!!!! ALICE COOPER OPENING ACT!!!

I've never been to a Maiden show. This may just be my first.

Trying to figure out this summer's tour. The ones that are definite so far:

Atlanta
DC
Newark, NJ

Dallas, TX

If I can make it work:

Irvine (both nights - they added a second night)

Oh snap! They're playing Calgary on my birthday and Edmonton the day after!!! The heavens have smiled on me

They're both hella long drives for me but as close as anything can reasonably get to me, and SOOOO worth it. These are both favorite acts for me and high up on my bucket list of shows to see... especially Alice.

I'm looking forward to the European leg of this tour in 2013. Really excited about the fact that they'll play their 7th Son stuff.

This is going to be a great tour, but the title is a bit misleading. Alice is only on the tour until July 21st. After that date, Coheed and Cambria will be the openers.

All I can say is that I'm really happy Alice is on my date

Can't make the Camden one!!!! It's actually perfectly safe as long as you only drive to the parking lot and leave after the show and get outside of Camden. I saw the A Matter Of Life & Death tour there.

Europe will be next year - Ed Force 1 around the world in early 2013, Europe in summer 2013. And yes, it will be the Maiden England tour. So next year we can be the jealous ones!

Yep. Will be interesting to see which songs are changed out. Also, the Maiden England VHS didn't include any of the encores, which were:

Run To The Hills
Running Free
Sanctuary

If ticket prices are reasonable, I might actually go. A buddy contacted me yesterday showing interest. I told him if the price is right and he does all the legwork, I'd go. I've seen Maiden before, but I've never seen Alice live. It's win/win.

Ideally, I'd like to see him as a headliner where he can do a full show with all the bells & whistles. But I'll take him as an opener too. Gotta take what I can get these days.

Sweet!!! Let me know if you go! There will be a pre-show meet up. I will post the info for anyone going to the DC show that wants to attend. It was great in 2010! Working on the planning now.....

With this being the Maiden England tour, what's the chance of a release of the original 1988 concert on DVD to coincide with the tour? I thought that was supposed to be in the works but has been for a good few years now
