I hate this "final album" crap. Didn't Leif say that the band wasn't ending, they're just not going to do any more albums? Pffft!

Yes he did. I left that part out of my original post, but the band will continue on with live shows...

How many times have we picked up a new album from an old band and stated "They should have quit a long time ago..."? Leif wants to go out on a high note with a great album and not get to the half-assed album stage.

They are breaking up, just not right now (kinda like The Scorpions). They'll tour on this album, then do the 30th Anniversary thing...then they'll pretty much stop. By the time all that is over, they'll be over 50...

To make it clear I do like Lowe and love Solitude Aeturnus. Yet he just doesnt work for me in Candlemass. I'm sure its just me, nothing wrong with him or anything

I love both Lanquist and Vickstrom, they were great in Candlemass. Lowe just doesnt click, for me anyway.
