Tape to MP3/CD App?

Does anyone know of a good way to rip tapes to convert them to CD or MP3?

I have tapes that I would like to convert to CD or MP3, that I cannot find the CD in print.

Hook your cassette player to your computer's soundcard with a male/male connector wire. Download a program such as "Audacity" and record from your Line In.

Sorry. Aside from some experimentation I did in college, I only have hetereosexual male/female connectors in my household. That is the only way for them to be productive. Male/male connectors are counter-productive and an affront to God. Technologicallly speaking of course.

Female/female connectors are sometimes ok. But only if they're both hot.

Thanks SpectreFate. I'll give them a try.

I use one app sometime ago, but the vocals came out low in volume.

And Metalguy, that is an interesting vid of a guy ?dancing?. That image will stay with me for too long.... affraid
