| I'm sure some people here will remember the early 80's metal band Stryken, who put out and album titled "First Strike". It was out of print for years and finally re-issued again in 2006. Well, "First Strike" has just been re-released AGAIN, only this time included 10 bonus tracks. The single "Surprise" and the entire "Blitzkrieg" demo has been added as bonus tracks. Unfortunately the packaging sucks and is one of those cheap "eco-friendly/green" packages with no booklet. It is sort of like a digi-pack, but doesn't have the plastic CD tray, rather just a little rubber circle glued on that the CD sits on.
Anyone remember this band or album? Surely someone remembers the ridiculous "armor of God" costumes they wore. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| The did look ridiculous and I had a tape of them. Never felt the need to upgrade to disc, have to listen to samples to see how it strikes me. |

| Gee Gardian had the "full armor" costumes as well and capes to boot. Guess they dropped the gimmick when they learned how to spell, "Guardian". | |

Which is what they say when they don't want you to know how cheap they are... Like how slipcase discs are "Special Limited Edition Mini-Vynil Packaging"... |

Yup. Advance copy. Sorry, didn't realize that until I searched for a link to order. As soon as it's available, I'll let you know. ult _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

Now I have "Crush the head of Satan.... under your feet" going through my head - still better than having "don't stop..... rock the flock" in my head any day of the week. | |

ult I remastered it myself...from the re-release from 2006 (which was mastered too loud). Anyone here familiar with my work knows what to expect. The bonus tracks came from cassette source...took a ton of work to make it match the rest of the stuff. but I got it. Yeah, it's small time packaging...I got mine in the mail yesterday, but thanks to me it sounds great! Haha. later...Cliffy _________________ http://www.steinhausmastering.com
