Best "Doom" Song

What song do you think best represents the doom sub-genre the best? For me, it's Black Sabbath's "Black Sabbath". With it's eerie, haunting riffs, Ozzy's mournful vocals and it's overall tone of dread. Plus, the song is about someone who dies and goes to Hell! What could be more doom than that?!

Leatherface, I was going to say "Black Sabbath" by Black Sabbath before even going into the thread, so I'll say "Children of the Grave" by Black Sabbath. I love the way it builds up into this juggernaut.

I havent heard this album in years but as I remember the album by Candlemass "Epicus, Doomicus, Metalicus" absolutely blew me away when I first heard it and I loved that album. so dark and doomy and totally heavy doom metal!

The Tempter by Trouble.

I was really rockin' this weekend on a CD by Penance, "Parallel Corners". Kind of an update on the Obsessed sound I'd say. The song I like best is either "Visions" or "Refections"; not sure which. It's a two part song that builds to a heavy ending, which is what I want from a doom song. I like Henry Rollins quote (although I don't care much for him generally) about Black Sabbath. He said that Sabbath reminded him of a very patient person who is about to lose his temper for once. "When this guy losses it he's really gonna go off." My favorite doom songs are like that, build up tension and then go off loud.

you said it man that evil intro with the rain and the bells and then going into that riff of doom as i would say and then ozzy mega vocals (and what i think is his best vocal performance ever)
