One of my pals in college was a HUGE Trekkie and he had a mad crush on Uhura too.

The only non-Trek thing I've ever seen her in was a mid-80s horror flick called "The Supernaturals," which was about Civil War zombies returning from the grave to wreak vengeance on a troop of Army soldiers doing practice maneuvers on a historic battlefield. Hilariously cool.
