| Judas Priest, Motley Crue and Mastodon are playing entire albums on their current tours. Ratt is going to do this for Rocklahoma. Slayer and Queensryche have already pulled this off. And I wondered what you guys thought about this. | |

| I voted It's great but I don't know if that would always be true. I don't like any whole album of Crue so it might not work with me for them. |

| It depends what albums they do, The Who of course used to do this routinely in the 70's when they would play 'Tommy' and 'Quadraphonia' on its entirety.
I think it is cool that way some deep cuts that are usually ignored get played live.

| I like it. From what I've heard, Motley & Priest are going to include some of their hits from other albums as well, so their sets should satisfy the hardcore fans and the casual ones.
It's good though. I'm sure these bands are terribly bored from playing the same songs over and over the last 30 years so now it's something interesting for them and the fans who have *heard* them play the same songs over and over for the last 30 years.

| The only time I've experienced it was when Iron Maiden played the entire A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH album on their 2006 tour. I thought it was a neat experiment, but then again I had a comp ticket and got in for nothing so I was just happy to be there. If I'd paid $60 for my ticket like everyone else I doubt I would've been as open minded. There were a LOT of people there who were not thrilled with the set. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| I think it can be a good thing. Going with some of the above comments I think if it results in older bands being a bit more fired up during a show because it's something that's new for them to do, then I'm all for it. | |

| I LOVE it as long as it's a GOOD album - I loved Iron Maiden doing A Matter Of Life And Death on that tour, but I love the whole album. Now, if they had tired to play, say a Blaze years albums, forget it!!!! I saw Queensryche do Operation:Mindcrime on the Building Empires tours and that was freakin' amazing!!!! Would love to have seen KISS do ALIVE!, or Mastodon play the new one. Motley crue? Do they even have 1 album that is good enough to play all the way through? The Who - you would have to see Tommy played in its entirety...... Concept (let me add GOOD CONCEPT) albums are perfect to play from track A to Z. | |

| Depends on the album/band.
King's X played Ogre Tones in it's entirety on that tour (although in a different order).
I saw Primus play Frizzle Fry all the way through, that was fun. |

| I don't really care for the most part. I will be very glad to hear all of Dr. Feelgood on CrueFest II this summer! Def Leppard could play all of Sparkle Lounge and I'd go elsewhere for the duration of that album. | |

| Like Joker said it depends on the album, if Judas Priest were to play 'Demolation' instead of 'British Steel ' in its entirety during that tour I would have to pass. As far as Motley Crue I wish they had choosen to do 'Shout At The Devil' or 'Too Fast for Love' in its entirety over 'Dr Feelgood' | |

| It's pretty lame IMO. I saw Maiden do this on the AMOLAD tour and it bored the smurf poo out of me. The album is awesome but it's not the sort of album to play all the way through, since most of it is slow, somber and hardly jumpy and sing-along-ish. The only one i've ever enjoyed was when i saw Dream Theater play the entire Images & Words album. That was awesomely awesome. | |

| don't really care either way, I usually end up leaving a bands set halfway through to find something else to do anyway. ADD keeps everything fresh. | |

| I like hearing full albums. If the album flows well, why not? And a lot of times this implies you'll be getting a lot of songs you normally wouldn't hear live. Excellent if you've already seen the band before perform a 'normal' set. | |

| I am a huge fan of this; but I know it really depends on the album the band chooses. I like Dr. Feelgood overall, but my personal favorite MC is ToP. I would love to hear British Steel all the way through live in concert. I need to get tickets to that show. | |

They did all of Frizzle Fry on the Hallucino Genetics DVD. It was badass.
