Totally agree. Dime and Vinny have 0% influence from EXHORDER. (BTW, Chris Nail was a really under-appreciated drummer IMHO. I can't believe how fast that guy could play.)

| Slaughter in the Vatican was not a Groove Metal album and it came out the same year as CFH. "The Law" came out the same year as Vulgar Display... as well. I don't see no clear cut proof of who copied who... | |

| I think Phil was definitely influenced by Thomas' vocal style and lyrical stance. The rest I don't buy. Kyle doesn't slag PANTERA and says they went a lot further because they worked a lot harder and deserved their success. | |

yeah, i guess trend was probably the wrong term to use. _________________

really? i thought they borrowed Exhorder's. I was listening to the two albums of Exhorder's and I can't recall them stealing any riffs from them sure the sound is familiar. Anyway they seem like an average thrash metal band to me nothing spectacular but however I did hear one of the songs that had one or two riffs that sounded similiar to the sleep by Pantera
