| I'm sure this has been done before, but what the hell...
I'm generally not a big live album guy (I'd rather hear studio recordings) but some live discs I dig include:
Raven - LIVE AT THE INFERNO Savatage - GHOST IN THE RUINS: A TRIBUTE TO CRISS OLIVA Halford - LIVE INSURRECTION W.A.S.P. - DOUBLE LIVE ASSASSINS Overkill - WRECKING YOUR NECK and WRECKING EVERYTHING Iron Maiden - ROCK IN RIO
Plus I've been listening to a KISS bootleg called UNCHAINED AND UNMASKED (recorded at a show I was at, on the REVENGE tour in '92) quite a bit. They had a great set list on that tour! _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Top ten:
Iced Earth - Alive in Athens (1999) Iron Maiden - Live After Death (1985) Annihilator - Double Live Annihilation (2003) Dio - Holy Diver Live (2006) Judas Priest - 98 Live Meltdown (1998) Judas Priest - Unleashed in the East (1979) Blind Guardian - Live (2003) Iron Maiden - Rock in Rio (2002) Testament - Live in London (2005) Overkill - Wrecking Everything (2002)
I really think that Iced Earth album is just perfect. Me liking the Dio one that much has a lot to do with Doug Aldrich. As for the two Priest entries... quite impossible to choose a favourite. I really like the updated sound on Live Meltdown, but "Unleashed" is still a classic.
I own only about two dozen live albums so the take is not all that comprehensive.

| I'm not a big live album person and I tend to be very bias in favor of bands I love. So to me something like Death Angel's Fall From Grace is killer.
Annihilator's Double Live Annihilation and Death's Live In LA would be my current favorites.
