anything good on MTV these days

I recently got cable Tv and gotta say i am very disappointed with MTV it just has all these trashy reality TV shows that have nothing to do with music. I was hoping it would have metal specials and Tv shows like Tommy goes to College, Gene Simmon's Reality TV show Rock School. It's a pity it's not 1988 I would of had the chance of watching metal videos and headbanging all day

. Is anything good though that I should look out for

I'm thinking about calling my satellite provider and asking them to pull the plug on MTV/MTV2. It takes up space.

Well, they show videos at like 3 in the morning sometimes. Nothing good though.
And Headbanger's Ball can be cool.

For anything even remotely metal or music-related, go right to VH-1 Classic. MTV is nothing but terrible teen reality shows. I'm not even sure how they qualify as a "music" channel anymore.
