SAHB's Dream Band

My submission would be:

Alex Harvey [duh]
Pete Way or Stanley Jordan
Manny Charlton
Marc Bolan
Neil Peart

And the fuzzy-headed dude from Mungo-Jerry just banging on stuff for image-sake.



Any other submissions before SAHB makes a fool of me and announces an all-star band made up of members I have never heard of?

God that band is hideous (shudders)!..........In other words RP's "Nightmare Band".

I've thought it over and I actually like the band Sax put together. It would be Glam with balls and some proggy flourishes.

Here's the band I came up with though. It would be a Rock band with lots of twin lead magic and not so much Glam.

Vocals- Rod Evans (Captain Beyond, DP)
Guitar- Andy Powell (Wishbone Ash)
Guitar- Dave Peverett (Foghat, Savoy Brown)
Bass & backing vocals- Burke Shelley (Budgie)
Keyboards- Ken Hensley (Uriah Heep)
Drums- Ted McKenna (SAHB, MSG)

I think that could work. My first choice as drummer would actually be Cesar Z. from Golden Earring, but I can't spell his name and I don't even want to try, so he's out.

Lonesome Dave, nice..........But Rod Evans on vocals, interesting choice.

I was gonna put Rod Evans but ended up putting Alex Harvey.

Maybe Jimmy DeWar (of Robin Trower) could alternate with Burke Shelley on Bass/Vocals, and Rod Evans could form another band with Ceasar Zuiderwijk.

Zuderwijk. That's gotta be worth a lot of points in Scrabble.
