- this isn't slating Primal Fear, because they're one of my fav bands but they do were their "influence" on their sleeves... I forget the name of the song but there's one track on PF's "NUCLEAR FIRE" album that is a rather blatant steal from Priest's "Hell Patrol" (off of PAINKILLER)... the blasting drum intro is virtually the same... Then there's Ralf Scheepers' decision to shave his head for the photos in that album... I was like "Oh come on Ralf, I know you're a Halford fan and all, but isn't that taking it a bit TOO far?" _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Sacred Warrior often reminds me of early Helloween, I think because of the vocals. |

| One of the riffs in Deliverance's No Time is a blatant copy of the riff in Metallica's Disposable Heroes; albeit at a slightly different speed and note. | |

| It had been a while since I heard these two songs, but now that I have recently heard them I realize that L7-Pretend That We're Dead is almost an exact replica of Suicidal Tendencies-I Saw Your Mommy (I hesitate to call it a rip-off but it comes off as one). | |

Stryper - Makes Me Wanna Sing I was actually surprised when I heard Wicker Man for the first time. I'm sure it's coincidence, but the riff is identical to Stryper's 1985 song. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| The opening of Autograpgh's 'Turn Up the Radio' sounds very similiar to a KISS song, but I can't put my finger on it. I heard Autograph the other night and thought it was a Kiss song. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| Conquer All- Behemoth Be All End All- Anthrax (both possessed the same riff implemented differently)
March of the S.O.D. - S.O.D. Lunatic Parade -Exodus (The exodus song had a riff very SOD inspired)
Laid to rest- Lamb of God Into the Pit- Testament (again, similar riffing)

| Black Sabbath- Zero The Hero Black Sabbath- Get A Grip Always bothered me how similar they sounded, especially since Iommi comes up with so many great riffs that he would reuse one | |

Didn't he try to sue for that? He did, and if he won (which I doubt he will) it sucks for Coldplay 'cause they got so many awards for that song. I'm still pulling for Satch in that one.

Black Sabbath - Zero The Hero Guns and Roses - Paradise City I swear, you disagree with me just to drive me nuts. Pfft, if anything it sounds closer than Paradise sh*tty, just in a different tone.

I'm not saying it DOESN'T have the riff, because it definately does, I just think Get A Grip is the closer in comparison of the two. And I have the book, its very good.
