Dave Mustaine has writing credits on The Four Horsemen, Jump In The Fire, Phantom Lord, Metal Militia, Ride The Lightning, & Call of Ktulu. Is there another song in dispute regarding writing credits w/Dave Mustaine & Metallic? If so, what is the Metallica song in question?

I've heard that both Master of Puppets and Leper Messiah is suppose to (according to Dave) have riffs in them written by him.

In Dave Mustaine's book he mentions hearing something of his in "Leper Messiah," don't know about "Master..." tho. I suppose it depends on who you talk to.
I just happened to have a Guitar World magazine article about M.O.P.'s 20th anniversary handy (Seriously! It's been sitting in my desk drawer for about two years! Haha) where they mention the "Leper Messiah"/Mustaine thing as well...
Interestingly, Dave Mustaine later claimed to have co-written "Leper Messiah," though Hammett denies this. 'There's maybe a chord progression that was in that song - like maybe 10 seconds that came from him - that ironically is just before the guitar solo. But he did not write 'Leper Messiah,' in fact I remember being in the room when Lars came up with the main musical motif.'
...so make of that what you will, I guess.

I believe Mustaine, Hammett is a good guitarist and great soloist but I do not believe that Lars came up with that riff or main musical motif , listening to the songwriting on '...And Justice' compared to the previous three Metallica albums.

Kirk is full of it... Lars is known for helping to arrange the songs, not writing them.

Yes, the song is Leper Messiah according to Dave. When Dave heard the song back in 1986, Dave supposedly confronted the band, claiming there was a riff that he contributed to Leper Messiah. "The Hills Run Red" was supposedly the first title before it became Leper Messiah.

There's a scene in "Sid and Nancy" where the Pistols are doing that song.
Dunno what's with all the Monkee mania 'round here, but what the hell: What Monkees song did Trouble cover on the PLASTIC GREEN HEAD album?

The Porpous (sp?) Song?
More Monkee fun...
Mike Nesmith's mom was credited with inventing a basic office supply that made her (and him) millions of dollars. What was it?

DING on "Porpoise Song."
And I believe the answer to your question is Liquid Paper/correction fluid.

Yup, Mike's mom invented Liquid Paper. According to Wiki, they sold it to the Gillette Corp. for $48 million in 1980. That's be like $48 kajillion in today's money.
