Who was the first "metal" band to debut an album at #1 on the Billboard charts?
Quiet Riot's Metal Health Nope. It's a bit of a trick question. Metal Health eventually climbed to #1, but it didn't debut in that spot. Also, someone is sure to point out that the band in question might not be "metal" in the traditional sense. Hard rock, perhaps, although I think it's a fine metal album.
Try again. Hmmm.... well the first Metal album to debut at # 1 was Skid Row's Slave To The Grind, if you are including bands considered hard rock, not sure, but probably Van Halen's F.U.C.K - it would have to be an album released after the new soundscan (or what ever it;s called) system debut in the 90's as most new albums didn't go straight to # 1 on release week. | |

| Yes indeedy-do. Skid Row is the answer I was looking for. Slave to the Grind is considdered the first heavy metal album to debut in the #1 position.

| Slave To The Grind is heavier and, IMO, even more Metal than Metal Health...and definitely moreso than F.U.C.K. _________________ FINAL SIGN

You're up next! In 1998, the members of Kiss guested on the then-popular Fox TV show "Millenium". What was Paul Stanley's character's name? _________________ FINAL SIGN

| On the 'Drew Carey Show', the guys held auditions for a guitar player to join the band. Around 10 or so famous musicans did a cameo.
Can you name at least 3 people that auditioned?
Bonus question: Who ended up getting the gig and became a semi-regular on the show? _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.
