| There was originally supposed to be a guest guitarist on the song "Evil Eye" from the B.S. album Cross Purposes, but they had to cancel at the last minute.
Who was the guitarist? |

Who was the guitarist? Brian May? Nope. I'll leave this one open for a little bit in case someone else wants to take a crack at it. |

| Yep. That's where I found out about it as well. By the way, that's not the official Sabbath website, it's a fansite run by a guy named Joel Siegler from Dallas. I tip my hat to the ENORMOUS amount of work he's put into that place. |

| Eddie Van Halen did some instrumental riffage for a couple of movies [I only know of 2, maybe more] - not actual soundtrack songs [ie: Twister], just some noodling. The first is very easy - the second, maybe not so much.
1 ? 2 ? |

What was #2 [or #3, depending on how you look at it]? Did he do something for Fast Times At Ridgemont High? And yea, just a year or 2 ago, he did some soundtrack work for a porn. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. | Porn, eh? Weird. Never heard a thing about that. I cannot think of what would hold his interest in contributing to something like that. Artistic merit? Cash? ???
I was going with "Say Anything" - when Cusack/Skye was taking that drunk home and the radio said something like, "And now 5 straight hours of your favorite rock", or something like that. It was EVH noodling as the dj was talking and then faded into the background. Then when they finally found the guys house, EVH was still noodling and the dj came on and said "That was 5 straight hours...".
So, Back to the Future, The Wild Life, and Say Anything. Those are three pretty solid 80's standards! |
