Nowadays, for $40, I think you can get most of LA Guns to come play at your house, wash your car and take out the trash when they leave. LOL saw them 2 weeks ago for $10 but they didn't wash my car

| I have quite a few Japanese released CD's. Many of which I bought in Japan. I think the most I've spent on one was about $35 after shipping and all of that. Buying them over there they run about $20-$25 though. | |

- I've jumped on those silly trends a few times and SOLD CDs when the prices were high. When P.O.D. got popular all of the sudden, I put up the 2 albums and EP I had and they sold for around $40 each. Funny thing is, a few months later the first two albums were re-released on CD. LOL! That happen A LOT! Patience pays sometimes.
I just sold a copy of Sabbaths Born Again for $43... Just enough to line Saxy's pockets for that American Angel - s/t cd I have been wanting forever Alex _________________

| I think the 35$ for the Modest Attraction Christmas EP is my most expensive used CD.
Then again, a new CD costs about 28$.... _________________

| Outside of boxsets the most I have paid for a single CD is 25.00 for Coroner's No More Color. That would be about my limit outside of some rare exceptions and even then I wouldn't go above fourty.
There have been several times where I've found stuff on Amazon for what I thought was a killer price only to see weeks later that If I'd waited it would've been much cheaper. That fear (along with the expense) keeps me out of the serious collecting game. I always feel if I invested that much money to get something the reissue with bonuses would be right around the corner.

I feel that way most of the time but in a few cases I dont ever see there being enough interest to do a re-release. I really could care less between original and re-release anymore. I used to have to have both but not anymore... I dont normally spend a lot on one cd but sometimes the deal is good! Alex _________________

| I think I'm about to be dragged over the coals here. The most I've ever paid was (includiing shipping) $207.00 for Edguy's original Savage Poetry cd. I ended up getting Tobias, Dirk and Jens to sign it the next year at Prog Power V. I went crazy on that because as odd as it might sound Tobias Sammet is a musical hero of mine. Similar age, same musical tastes, never been dissapointed. I also had a ton of extra cash from my twenty hours of overtime a week during the summer of 2003. I doubgt I'd ever do that again except for an original Soundhouse Tapes.
I've been buying a ton on ebay recently. They'll range from a three dollar cd, to eleven, to thirty. I tend to try and keep things below twelve bucks, and usually below ten. That way I can afford to splurge on thirty buck Jap's and stuff. But no I don't have a fancy car or many other nice things either, it all goes to expenses and music.

THAT IS INSANE!!!! I have never seen a CD go for anywhere near that. I have 2 copies of that CD and one of them is still sealed. I ain't about to sell it either. Man I used to have a box of those and was selling them to whoever wanted them for what I had paid for them. $6 or 7 a piece.

| I remember back in the early 90's I saw a bootleg Doors boxset cleverly titled 'The Complete Matrix Tapes' for like $70, and I was really tempted but in the end, as much as a diehard fan I am I just could not do it, and I let it go.
Since then I had obtained a bootleg of one of the performances on CD for like ten dollars entitled ' Crawling King Snakes' and late last year The Doors themselves released an official release of this concert.
I have let go of number of cool bootlegs by bands such as Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Alice Cooper, Van Halen, and Randy Rhoads among others due to the price.

| $ 100 ? $ 200? !!! Man,I thought I was a music freak,I finally actually feel kind of like a cheap ass for one time paying $30 for Grave Digger Tunes Of War,my family nearly fainted "You,you paid that much !" I got antsy, thought paying for the import was the only way I could get it,and it was their latest,so that just helped to fuel the fire. That particular store also got me to fork over 22 for Tyrant's Too Late To Pray, classic Metal Blade album, thought I just HAD to have it,and I did | |

Nowadays, for $40, I think you can get most of LA Guns to come play at your house, wash your car and take out the trash when they leave. $40 will get you both versions of LA Guns.......maybe they might have it out on your front lawn.

| I paid $40 for the original bloodgood - To Germany With Love (number 934 of 990) back in the day before it was re-released. It was pretty much the hardest bloodgood cd to find due to the limited editon of the cds. Same thing with Bride - Across the Border.. I was much more of a completist back then..

Yes I still have the first and third tapes. I don't think the guys from the band have those anymore! I've also got the 7" that came out of Florida on a smal label in the early 90s and I know most or all of them do not have that one either.
