| I doubt I'll pre-order, but I DO need to get this. I've been a fan of Mortification for a long time. Heck, I haven't even gotten Erasing The Goblin yet.... I wanted that special edition cover, but I was flat broke at the time, and it seems to now sell for more than I want to pay. I have everything else they have put out. _________________ You're cancer, you can't be the answer, you're killing me

I have everything else they have put out. I have both versions. Been meaning to sell one of them, but it irks me as there are seperate bonus tracks on both! I'll order the new one as soon as the pay check gets in _________________

| I've never been a Mortification fan but someone really needs to sit down and half a talk with them about album titles. | |

| HAHAHA I agree Kethdredd. And a talk about his vocals as well while someone is laying into him discussing titles.
I'll pass on this too. Mortification had a few good albums then just went to the crapper and never got out of it. The excrement is too thick and deep to swim out of now.

That would be challenging, since they change style on almost every single album. I would recommend Relentless first. But I like almost all of their albums except the Primitive album

He didn't do that in the early days, they seemed to want to come across more serious...

He didn't do that in the early days, they seemed to want to come across more serious... He's always had that odd sense of humor. Ever seen their first video? They all were a bunch of dorks. LOL! However, you are correct, I think when they were doing death metal they were striving for a more "serious" vibe. However, there is no doubt that over the years, especially after Steve's bout with leukemia, that his sense of humor has come to the surfice. That's the reason you have songs like Daniel was Mosher, and Noah was a Knower. Cheesy? Sure. But at the same time, it's suppose to be. That's Steve. He rules! Stender, Morty really only release on true death metal album and that was "Scrolls". Their first album rode a fence between death metal and thrash metal. You can hear a big influence of bands like Coroner and Kreator on that first album. With "Post Momentary Afflication" they brought the trash element back, as well as some classic metal elements. You'll hear some Manowar influences in that album. Powermacho, Why don't you like Primitive Rhythm Machine? While the production is a bit doddgy, the songs aren't bad at all IMO. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

I am a hardcore Mort fan, and I love all of their albums, even the hardcore BLOODWORLD, and the Silver Chord is Served. But For some reason I can't get into that album, It is probably because I am not a big Sepultura fan, and that makes me not wanting to listen to it, maybe I need to give it more spins to like it
