Before all of the issues with the RIAA and NAPSTER, the old mp3.com had free music downloads from unsigned/indie bands. I remember discovering great tunes from Enertia, ToungeHook, and Sedona. Anyone remember that site and if so, what bands did you discover there?

1999/2000 were lean times for me so free music was the way for me. I was an mp3.com regular.
I discovered Pagan's Mind there (as Silverspoon first). Defyance was another band I discovered there. I'm sure there are more that I'll think of.

I remember that site. Don't remember many bands, though, if any, although I likely discovered or read about a few.

I used to frequent that place all the time. It helped me get into Blind Guardian and Sonata Arctica.
