Must-have albums you didn't acquire until very recently

WASP's self-titled debut.

I'm still missing most of the Led Zeppelin discography. I had everything on tape, but haven't gotten around to upgrading to individual cd's once I got the 4-cd box set years ago.

AC/DC- Highway to Hell
A very strong album IMO

Iron Maiden's Seventh Son and Somewhere in Time

I don't have any Led Zeppelin album in my collection. As for Deep purple, i only have a best-of.

Annihilator - the debut and the second album

Picked them up very recently and AFTER "Set The World On Fire". Imagine that.

Just ordered Forced Entry's Uncertain Future/The Shore.

Unless you are die hard Led Zep fan, that boxset has almost everythin you need by them, also they are played on the radio so often, there is almost no need to buy their discography.

Yeah, that box set is all I have too and it's enough for me. The only thing missing is Livin' Lovin' Maid.

I only just recently got Judas Priest's "Unleashed in the East" and Iron Maiden's "Somewhere in Time"



Unleashed in the East - I don't see the big deal. It does not even sound live, more like studio magic - And the guitars aren't very "beefed up", especially not on tracks like Exciter - Such a shame, because there is barely any overdrive on the guitars on the original recording - It just takes so much away from an otherwise song. I'm guessing it's nostalgia for most people again - Sorry, back to the topic

I personally love 'Unleased in the East' but over the years their has been lots of rumors of how 'live' this album really is, some critics have even dubbed it 'Unleased in the Studio'

Anthrax-Persistence Of Time and Spreading The Disease
Rush-Fly By Night
Van Halen-s/t and 1984
AC/DC-Dirty Deeds

I have a few more and many more to come.

Which reminds me:

I finally got my Megadeth collection up to speed and have everything up to Rust In Piece on CD.

Because I had everything on tape at one point, I feel the need to upgrade them all to cd, eventually, even if it's only to fill out my collection. But I'm in no rush to do it.

Ought to be able to find most of Led Zep used.

There is some nostalgia in Unleashed and there's almost no way that's from a concert unless they went back in and overdubbed everything.
