Beside The X Factor and the hideous Dance Of Death covers, they're all GREAT at some level...but if forced to decide I'd say

Powerslave - due to the Egyptian theme

Somewhere In Time - A CLOSE second due to the incredible detail and little things here and there in the picture.

I thought this was gonna be about Iron Maiden covering other bands. I was racking my brain thinking of some of their covers.

Anyway, as far as album covers go, I've always been partial to Live After Death. I drew a pic of that in a copy book back in high school for the kid next to me in study hall. I like Piece of Mind too.

I always liked the Piece of Mind cover, though I also think Fear of the Dark, with Eddie coming out of the tree is kinda cool too. I also like the Best of the Beast with "the many faces of Eddie" on the front.

A note about Dance of Death - Yes the cover sucks, but the inside pix of the guys with the blurry half-naked chicks are pretty cool! greedy

Maiden has always had really good covers, even for their singles. The only exception is the Hugh Syme cover for The X Factor. Really didn't like the whole nine inch nails thing,.
