| Everybody knows the hayday of thrash metal was between 1983 and around 1992. For me, whenever I hear a so called thrash album released after 92 it dosnt even compare to the earliar years of the genre. The band usually has to incorporate groove or something else and most likely dosnt sound like thrash at all. Am I right? or are there some albums out there that rank up with thrash that came out in that awesome mid 80's period...besides the big names that we all know, Megadeth, Ultimatum, etc. | |

| Souls At Zero - Souls At Zero (1993)
Some might argue this doesn't qualify as "thrash", but songs like Grey World argue that point quite well.

Same goes for Believer's "Dimensions" Dimensions is alright, but same deal as the screams and whispers for me. More riffs and less orchestration but its still a good un.

Dimensions is alright, but same deal as the screams and whispers for me. More riffs and less orchestration but its still a good un. That happens to be the first (and only) Believer album I owned. At the time the others were out of print. Now that they've been reissued, I need to pick them up some time.

| Assuming you are not talking about all the new bands out in the last few years, here are some from 92 - present not on the lists above.
Blackend - Sloth (1998) Blackend - Mental. Game. Messiah. (2000) Blackend - The Last Thing Undone (2001) Paradox - Collision Course (2000) Hirax - Barrage of Noise (2001) Hirax - New Age of Terror (2004) Possession - Eternally Haunt (1995) Possession - The Unnameable Suffering (1993) United - NO I.Q. (1995) Wrekking Machine - Mechanistic Termination (1993) Sacrament - Haunts of Violence (might have been '92, but still recommended.)
King's Evil - Deletion of Humanoise Good recomendation Shannon. Forgot about this one. Need to dig it out. Haven't heard it in a while. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!
